5: Never say “I can’t do it”
If you want to increase your self-confidence need to delete this line from your system. This is a line that we all use as an excuse to escape from tough situations. Like completing maths assignment in which you aren’t that good or like asking a girl for date that you like or any other tough situation. The thing is that when we don’t have confidence then we start assuming, making explanation and then finally end up saying “I can’t do it”. So next when you find yourself in such conditions then instead of giving up directly try to fight the condition with a thinking that “I can do it”. Yes, you might still fail but giving up without trying is still a failure.
4: Become healthier and fit.
Nothing more is the biggest sinner of lack of confidence is an unhealthy and unfit body according to me. Being a fat child in my childhood nothing destroyed my self confidence then my unfit body. An unhealthy lifestyle and lack of exercise make a person unhealthy and unfit. Get your diet in check, join gym if you can, do some sort of cardio this would not only make you fit but also make you less prone to diseases too and in return also make you more confident.
3: Take up new challenges.
Scared of challenges? Yes, we all are up to some degree afraid of challenges. Who want to take challenge that they can’t do? But challenges are not only challenges they are also the way to personal growth and making us more confident. It does not matter what kind of challenge it is. Whether you challenge to do 4 sets of 20 push-ups and 30 min cardio everyday if you don’t go to gym, or something like talking to a girl you like but afraid to talk with. Just challenge yourself, even if you fail don’t give and start taking even more challenges in matter of no time you will start seeing more confident you.
3: Stop trying to please everyone.
We all want to be liked and respected by everyone. There are many person’s in this world that no matter how hard you try, you can’t make them happy. This decrease our self-worth, we start thinking, assuming and ending up loosing the people who make us feel good about ourselves and making us less confident.Next time be the person you are and not the person everyone want you to be to be likeable by them.This will increase the quality of people in your life ,make you feel good about yourself and thus increase your confidence.
2: Remove toxic people from life.
Another biggest factor that can hinder the growth of your confidence is, yes, the toxic people in your group, workplace or any other place you hang out. These are the kind of people like might take you for granted, do back bitching about you or others, or the people how might just use for there own benefits and then take the credit and forget you till the next they need you. Leave such people, break friendships with them, if you can’t try to be in less contact with these kinds of people not only make us less confident and decrease our self-worth, but also make or life a living hell.
1: Gain more and more knowledge
Everyone can be concluded guilty for this. Who likes to study newspaper watch news and other things like this? But when we interact with others and they come up a topic that you not familiar about then suddenly our confidence drops. We don’t have anything to say. This not only make us feel left out in the conversation but also decrease our confidence. So, make yourself more knowledgeable learn from news, magazine’s or newspaper. This not only make you the guy who knows what’s happening in the world but also the guy one can look forward to keep himself updated. A better knowledgeable and confident guy.
